A hot-rodder who found his niche
Josh Downie got into cars and hot-rodding when he was younger, painting a few cars along the way. That's where he found paintless dent repair, a craft that takes skill, precision and a lot of patience.
He's been at it since 2014. Today he works out of his own shop just outside Waco, on everything from daily drivers and work trucks to restored classics and hot rods.

What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair (PDR) massages the metal back into shape from behind the panel using specialized rods, picks and lights. Because nothing is sanded, filled or repainted, your original factory finish stays intact.
How much does paintless dent repair cost?
It depends on the size, depth and location of the dent and how many there are. We give free estimates over the phone, so text a photo or call (402) 992-7561. PDR usually costs far less than a body shop repaint.
How long does a repair take?
Many door dings and small dents are fixed the same day, often within a few hours. Hail damage takes longer depending on how many panels are hit.
Will my insurance cover hail damage?
Hail damage is usually filed under comprehensive coverage, but check your policy. We work with insurance companies directly: give us your claim number and we'll handle it from there.
Can every dent be fixed without paint?
PDR works when the paint isn't cracked or broken. That covers most door dings, hail dents, creases and many larger dents from minor collisions. If yours needs a body shop instead, we'll tell you honestly.
Do you offer mobile dent repair?
Yes, we can come to you, at your home or workplace. You can also bring your vehicle to Josh's shop in Valley Mills, just outside Waco. All work is by appointment.
